These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Pondicherry Cabs website and services. By booking or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Booking & Confirmation

Bookings may be made via the website or WhatsApp. All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by Pondicherry Cabs. You will receive confirmation via SMS or WhatsApp once a driver is assigned.

2. Fares, Payments & Taxes

• Fares displayed on the website are indicative. Final fare is calculated based on actual distance/time, selected vehicle type, and applicable minimum kilometre rules.
• Driver Bata (allowance), tolls, parking, interstate permits and other incidental charges are additional unless stated otherwise.
• Payments are accepted by cash, bank transfer or as stated on the booking confirmation. Please check the payment options available at the time of booking.
• All fares are exclusive of taxes unless specified. Any statutory taxes will be added to the invoice where applicable.

3. Cancellation & Refund Policy

• Cancellations by customers must be communicated via WhatsApp or the provided contact number.
• Cancellation fees may apply depending on the time between booking confirmation and cancellation. Please check the cancellation notice in your booking confirmation.
• Refunds (if any) will be processed after verification and may take 5–10 working days to reflect depending on the payment method.

4. Driver & Vehicle Standards

• All drivers are expected to follow safe driving practices and maintain professional conduct.
• Pondicherry Cabs strives to ensure vehicles are clean and well-maintained. If you find a vehicle unsuitable, notify us immediately using the contact number provided in your booking.

5. Liability & Insurance

Pondicherry Cabs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of our services. Vehicles and drivers have insurance as required by law; however, passengers are advised to secure their personal belongings. Pondicherry Cabs is not responsible for lost items — we will assist in locating items where possible.

6. Route Changes & Delays

• Route changes requested by the customer after the trip has started may incur additional charges.
• Delays due to traffic, weather, or road conditions are not the responsibility of Pondicherry Cabs. We will work to provide alternatives where feasible.

7. Prohibited Uses

• Illegal activities, transporting hazardous materials, or any behaviour that endangers the driver or vehicle is strictly prohibited.
• Pondicherry Cabs reserves the right to refuse service for abusive or threatening behaviour.

8. Complaints & Support

If you have any complaints or need assistance, contact our support team via WhatsApp or the phone number listed on the website. We aim to respond promptly and resolve issues fairly.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the appropriate courts in the relevant state.
